A revised version of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Form I-129, the nonimmigrant visa petition, will be introduced on November 23, 2010 and will become mandatory as of December 22, 2010. The revised form is the first substantial alteration of the nonimmigrant visa petition in several years, and includes new questions on offsite work, the new border security fee and export control, as well as a new acknowledgment that petitioners can be subject to agency site visits and other means of verification.
