What was your first impression of the UK?
Very positive! Nice people, good lifestyle, but bad weather!
What do you think of the food?
Different from Greece. There is a variety of different options of international cuisine and overall; I never got bored of trying something new!
What do you think of the shopping in the UK?
Excellent, particularly here in Leeds.
What do you appreciate about living in the UK?
A multicultural country that provides excellent opportunities in the higher education sector.
What do you find most frustrating about living in the UK?
Dealing with the call centres, particularly the ones of BT.
What puzzles you about the UK and what do you miss since you’ve moved here?
Nothing much, the only think that I genuinly miss is the summer... we didn't experience a summer for the last three years!
How does the quality of life in the UK compare to the quality of life in other countries that you’ve lived in?
Work wise it's better, but when comparing lifestyle it's not doing that great (mainly due to the weather limitations).
If you could change anything about the UK, what would it be?
Guess what? The seasons! Oh, and the price of accommodation that is very high.
What advice would you give to a newcomer?
To be open and allow themselves to experience the fine British culture!
